Maryland softball swept in four-game series against Nebraska

Maryland softball (xiv-22) lost all four games to Nebraska (xx-16) this weekend, keeping the commencement two games shut, only the run deficit grew in the final two games of the weekend.
In game one, Maryland suffered a 2-one loss, despite a strong performance from sophomore Trinity Schlotterbeck who struck out four Cornhuskers and gave up five hits. Schlotterbeck didn't receive run support from her offense, every bit the Terps totaled simply iii hits. Andrews (2-three) hit a two-run homer, he second of the day. Senior second baseman Cam Ybarra kept the rally going with another 2-run shot giving Nebraska the iv-three lead. Cornhuskers junior pitcher Courtney Wallace earned the win with four strikeouts and immune just one earned run in 5.1 innings pitched.
On Saturday, Maryland suffered a tough loss 8-4 in game 3 confronting Nebraska. Maryland sophomore pitcher Courtney Wyche took the loss with only two strikeouts, 1 wild pitch and allowed five hits.
Once more, Maryland out-hit the Cornhuskers eleven-7. McFarland (3-four) led off the starting time inning with a home run. The Terps ended upward coming dorsum from behind to proceeds the pb iv-3 in the sixth inning.

While Maryland's pitching staff struggled giving up home runs, the Terps will await to bounce back once once again on the route against Rutgers (7-29).
